What we collect when you contact us, why we hold it, and how to ask us to remove it.
Who we are

What we collect
We only collect what we need to quote and carry out electrical work. That is normally your name, phone number, email address, property address or postcode, and the details of the job you describe to us.
Where we carry out testing, inspection or certification, we also hold the records required for that work, including certificates and reports relating to the installation at your property.
Why we hold it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide a quotation.
- To arrange visits and carry out the work you have asked for.
- To issue certificates and notify domestic work under Part P through NAPIT.
- To honour the twelve month workmanship guarantee if you come back to us.
- To keep the accounting and insurance records we are required to keep.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to marketing companies. It may be shared with our certification scheme provider where notification of work is required, with our insurer in the event of a claim, and with our accountant for record keeping. Where you ask us to work with a landlord, letting agent or managing agent, we will share the certificate or report with the party who instructed the work.
Website enquiries
When you submit the quote form on this website, the details you enter are sent to us so we can reply. We use them for that purpose only. If you would rather not use the form, simply call or email instead.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful, and then deleted. Records relating to completed work, certification and accounts are kept for as long as we are required to keep them for legal, insurance and guarantee purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact Jonathan Oatley using the details above and we will deal with it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office.
